Biography
Franz Andreas Krauss (1909 – Fürth – 1983) Landscape painter, graphic artist. Studied at the State School of Applied Arts in Nuremberg under Rudolf Schiestl and Max Körner. Krauss lived as a painter and graphic artist in Nuremberg and painted in oil and watercolor, primarily depicting motifs from Nuremberg and the Franconian countryside. Collaborator with the Dt. Hausbuch-Verlag publishing house. Winner of the Dürer Prize. His works are held in the museums of the city of Nuremberg and the Grieb private collection.
